Can’t say I’m a romance comedy movie type of gal. But it’s not to say I don’t enjoy a good, warm-blooded love story when I see one. And tonight I discovered not 1, but 18 love stories I like, what a treat! Ok I lied, there were a few I didn’t like but that’s still pretty good.
“Paris, Je T’aime” brings together 18 love stories taking place in different neighborhoods of Paris. Each short film independent from the others, but together it exhibits the many faces and forms of love and romance.
The stories are 5 minutes each, through the interpretation of well-known directors and actors, short films becomes engaging and memorable. Although Paris is where the stories were told, these stories can happen at any Metropolitan city. It’s a celebration of urban living and a glimpse of life experiences.
Actually what do you think? If the Paris flavor were removed from the movie, if the female characters in the stories weren’t French, would it still be charming and mesmerizing?
